Wallet
Also known as crypto wallet digital wallet
A crypto wallet is software or hardware that stores the private keys used to control blockchain assets and sign transactions. The coins themselves remain on the blockchain; the wallet proves the right to move them. Wallets can be custodial, where a company holds the keys, or self-custodial, where the user does. Hot wallets are connected to the internet for convenience, while cold wallets keep keys offline for security.
