Hardware Wallet
Also known as cold wallet cold storage
A hardware wallet is a dedicated physical device that stores private keys offline and signs transactions internally, so the keys are never exposed to an internet-connected computer. The user confirms each transaction on the device itself. Hardware wallets protect against many forms of malware and remote theft, but users must still guard the device and its seed phrase and buy devices only from trusted sources.
