Order Book
Also known as limit order market order
An order book is a live list of the buy and sell orders waiting on an exchange for a particular trading pair, organised by price. Buy orders, or bids, sit on one side and sell orders, or asks, on the other. A market order fills immediately against the best available prices, while a limit order waits until the market reaches a chosen price. The depth of the book shows how much liquidity is available.
